Description
A delicious fusion of classic pepperoni pizza and a juicy burger, perfect for pizza lovers and burger enthusiasts alike.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20 blend works best)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 4 burger buns (or mini pizza rounds)
- 1 cup pizza sauce (marinara works too)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 16–20 slices pepperoni
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley or basil, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Shape into 4 equal patties.
- Cook patties in a skillet or grill, 4–5 minutes per side, until cooked to desired doneness.
- Toast burger buns lightly (or bake mini pizza rounds for a thicker base, as shown in the picture).
- Place bottom bun or pizza round on a baking tray. Spread with pizza sauce, then place cooked burger patty on top.
- Add more sauce, sprinkle mozzarella, and top with pepperoni slices.
- Place under broiler (or in oven at 400°F / 200°C) for 3–4 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley. Stack for double layers if extra cheesy indulgence is desired.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, consider adding jalapeños or spicy pepperoni.
- Feel free to customize toppings based on personal preference.
- Ensure the burger patties are cooked to a safe internal temperature.
