- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream)
- 2 (3 oz) boxes peach gelatin (Jell-O)
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups cold water
- 3 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned, drained)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix crushed pretzels with melted butter and sugar.
- Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Fold in whipped topping until fluffy.
- Spread evenly over the cooled pretzel crust, sealing edges to prevent Jell-O from leaking through.
- Dissolve peach gelatin in boiling water, then stir in cold water.
- Let gelatin cool slightly until thickened but not set.
- Stir in sliced peaches.
- Pour the peach gelatin mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Refrigerate until completely set, about 4–6 hours or overnight.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled.
- Garnish with extra peach slices or whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- Ensure the pretzel crust is completely cooled before adding the cream cheese layer.
- For a richer flavor, use fresh peaches when in season.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance for convenience.
