Description

A delightful dessert combining a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy cheese layer, and a fruity peach gelatin topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream)
  • 2 (3 oz) boxes peach gelatin (Jell-O)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 3 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned, drained)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix crushed pretzels with melted butter and sugar.
  3. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool completely.
  5. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  6. Fold in whipped topping until fluffy.
  7. Spread evenly over the cooled pretzel crust, sealing edges to prevent Jell-O from leaking through.
  8. Dissolve peach gelatin in boiling water, then stir in cold water.
  9. Let gelatin cool slightly until thickened but not set.
  10. Stir in sliced peaches.
  11. Pour the peach gelatin mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  12. Refrigerate until completely set, about 4–6 hours or overnight.
  13. Cut into squares and serve chilled.
  14. Garnish with extra peach slices or whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • Ensure the pretzel crust is completely cooled before adding the cream cheese layer.
  • For a richer flavor, use fresh peaches when in season.
  • This dessert can be made a day in advance for convenience.
