Description
A refreshing ginger tea made with fresh ginger, honey, and lemon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 inches fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced
- 4 cups filtered water
- 2 tablespoons honey or sugar (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
- Peel and slice the fresh ginger root into thin pieces.
- In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of filtered water to a boil.
- Add the sliced ginger to the boiling water and reduce heat to low; let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in honey or sugar according to your preference.
- Squeeze in the freshly squeezed lemon juice, stir well, and pour into your favorite mug.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more or less honey/sugar.
- This tea can be enjoyed hot or chilled.
