Description
Deliciously marinated duck legs baked to perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 duck legs (about 600g)
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1/3 cup raw honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together ginger, honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Place duck legs in a resealable bag or dish and pour marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange duck legs on a baking sheet lined with foil.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Brush with reserved marinade and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until caramelized.
- Serve hot with any remaining glaze drizzled on top.
Notes
- For best results, marinate the duck legs overnight.
- You can adjust the sweetness and saltiness of the marinade by varying the amounts of honey and soy sauce.
