Description

Deliciously marinated duck legs baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 duck legs (about 600g)
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/3 cup raw honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together ginger, honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place duck legs in a resealable bag or dish and pour marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange duck legs on a baking sheet lined with foil.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Brush with reserved marinade and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until caramelized.
  5. Serve hot with any remaining glaze drizzled on top.

Notes

  • For best results, marinate the duck legs overnight.
  • You can adjust the sweetness and saltiness of the marinade by varying the amounts of honey and soy sauce.
