Description

Create stunning Galaxy Swirl Lollipops that are not only visually appealing but also delicious. Perfect for parties or as a fun treat!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • ⅔ cup light corn syrup
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp flavored extract (vanilla, cotton candy, raspberry, or your choice)
  • Gel food coloring (blue, purple, pink, turquoise, etc.)
  • Edible glitter or luster dust
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Prepare molds: Lightly grease silicone lollipop molds (or use parchment on a baking tray). Place sticks into molds.
  2. Cook the sugar syrup: In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and cream of tartar. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil without stirring until mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
  3. Add flavor & color: Remove from heat, stir in extract. Divide syrup into small bowls and tint with different gel food colors.
  4. Create the galaxy swirl: Pour spoonfuls of different colors into molds, swirling gently with a toothpick (don’t overmix). Sprinkle edible glitter or luster dust for a starry effect.
  5. Set & unmold: Let lollipops cool completely (about 20 minutes). Carefully remove from molds and store in an airtight container.
