Ingredients

- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ cup (60ml) tomato sauce (or salsa)
- 1–2 tbsp water (if needed)
- 2 cups cooked warm rice (white, jasmine, brown, or cilantro-lime)
- Shredded lettuce
- Fresh guacamole
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Pico de gallo (tomato, onion, cilantro, lime, salt)
- Sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- Optional: corn, black beans, jalapeños, lime wedges
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook, breaking apart as it browns.
- Add salt, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, onion powder.
- Stir in tomato sauce, and a splash of water if needed.
- Simmer 3–5 minutes until saucy and flavorful.
- In each bowl, layer warm rice, shredded lettuce, seasoned beef, guacamole, cheese, pico de gallo, and sour cream.
- Squeeze fresh lime on top for brightness.
