Description
Delicious no-bake white chocolate holiday cake truffles, perfect for festive celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups crumbled vanilla cake (boxed mix, bakery cake, or homemade)
- ½ cup vanilla frosting (or white chocolate buttercream)
- ½ cup white chocolate chips (optional for texture)
- 14 oz (400 g) white chocolate melting wafers or baking chocolate
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother coating)
- Holiday sprinkles (red, green, white)
- Extra melted white chocolate for drizzling
Instructions
- In a large bowl, crumble the cake with your hands (fine crumbs). Add frosting and mix until the texture is like soft cookie dough. Fold in white chocolate chips if using. Chill 10 minutes to make rolling easier.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions. Roll into smooth balls with your hands. Place on a parchment-lined tray. Freeze 10–15 minutes until slightly firm.
- Melt chocolate wafers in the microwave (30-second intervals). Stir until smooth. Add coconut oil if you want a thinner, glossier coating.
- Using a fork, dip each chilled ball into melted chocolate. Tap off excess and place back on parchment. Immediately add holiday sprinkles before the coating sets. Drizzle with extra melted chocolate for a bakery look (optional).
- Allow truffles to set at room temperature or refrigerate 5–10 minutes.
Notes
- For best results, use high-quality white chocolate for coating.
- Truffles can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Feel free to customize decorations based on your holiday theme.
