- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 1 1/2 cups high-quality white chocolate chips
- Optional toppings: sprinkles or crushed nuts
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by gathering all ingredients.
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter until bubbly.
- Stir in mini marshmallows until completely melted and smooth (about 4-5 minutes).
- Remove from heat and gently fold in Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
- Lightly grease your hands or spatula, then press the mixture into an even layer in a greased 9×13-inch pan.
- Allow to cool for about 30 minutes.
- Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth, stirring after each interval.
- Cut cooled treats into squares or rectangles.
- Dip half into melted white chocolate and let excess drip off before placing on parchment paper.
- Add sprinkles if desired.
Notes
- Store treats in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
- For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt to the melted butter and marshmallows.
