Description
A creamy and flavorful dip made with feta cheese and Greek yogurt, perfect for serving with fresh vegetables and pita.
Ingredients

- 8 ounces block feta (full fat, well drained, see note (226 grams))
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (full fat (113 grams))
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (or 1/4 teaspoon table salt)
- to taste freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest (the zest of one small lemon)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (plus more for topping)
- to taste red pepper flakes for topping (if desired)
- cucumbers, red bell peppers, and pita (for serving)
Instructions
- Combine the feta and yogurt in a food processor with garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon zest. Blend well.
- Add in the olive oil and continue blending until smooth.
- Transfer to a bowl and garnish with additional oil and crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve with pita bread, red pepper pieces, and sliced cucumber.
Notes
- This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
