Description

The Ultimate Pepperoni Cheeseburger Stack is a delicious and indulgent burger recipe that combines juicy beef patties with layers of mozzarella, cheddar, pepperoni, and crispy bacon, creating a mouthwatering experience.

Ingredients

  • Ground beef (80/20 recommended): 1.3–1.5 lb (600–700g)
  • Salt & black pepper: To taste
  • Garlic powder: 1 tsp
  • Onion powder: 1 tsp
  • Mozzarella cheese, sliced or shredded: 2 cups
  • Cheddar cheese sauce OR melted cheddar slices: 1 to 1.5 cups
  • Pepperoni slices: 20–30 pieces
  • Crispy bacon, chopped: 8–10 strips
  • Optional seasoning: Italian herbs / chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Shape & Cook the Patties: Form 4 large burger patties (~1.5 cm / ½ inch thick). Season each side well with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook in a skillet / grill / flat top for 3–4 min per side, until browned. Turn heat to low and melt mozzarella on each patty.
  2. Make the Cheddar Cheese Drip: If using cheese sauce, warm slowly so it becomes pourable (not watery). If using cheddar slices, melt with a splash of milk in microwave (10 seconds at a time) until silky.
  3. Assemble the Stack: On a board or plate, layer Patty + Mozzarella, Crispy Bacon + Pepperoni, and Cheddar Drizzle. Repeat 3–4 times. Top final layer with extra pepperoni, extra bacon, and a generous cheddar waterfall. Sprinkle fresh herbs (optional but looks pro).
  4. Serve Immediately: This is best hot, when the cheese is fully molten and dripping.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, consider adding jalapeños or spicy pepperoni.
  • Pair with a side of fries or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge and reheated, but the cheese may not be as gooey.
