- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup pure honey
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides; place them in the baking dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, and apple cider vinegar until well combined.
- Pour the glaze over the chicken, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), drizzling additional glaze halfway through if desired.
- Serve warm drizzled with leftover sauce from the pan.
Notes
- Chicken can be marinated for a few hours in the glaze for more flavor.
- This dish pairs well with steamed vegetables or rice.
