Description
A soft, buttery vanilla cake swirled with sweet strawberry flavor — baked in a beautiful bundt shape and finished with a two-tone strawberry & vanilla glaze. Moist, tender, and absolutely stunning on the table.

- 2 ½ cups (310g) all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 cup (240ml) buttermilk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅓ cup strawberry jam (or strawberry puree)
- 2–3 drops pink or red food coloring (optional, for color boost)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for vanilla glaze)
- 2–3 tbsp milk (for vanilla glaze)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (for vanilla glaze)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for strawberry glaze)
- 2–3 tbsp strawberry syrup (or puree, for strawberry glaze)
- Optional: drop of pink/red coloring (for strawberry glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat butter + sugar until fluffy (about 3 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Mix in vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients alternating with buttermilk until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer ⅓ of the batter to a small bowl and stir in strawberry jam + coloring.
- Add large spoonfuls of vanilla batter and strawberry batter alternately into bundt pan.
- Use a knife to gently swirl — do not overmix.
- Bake for 45–60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for 15 minutes, then flip out onto a rack to cool completely.
- For the vanilla glaze, mix powdered sugar + milk + vanilla until pourable.
- For the strawberry glaze, mix powdered sugar + strawberry syrup until smooth.
- Pour the vanilla glaze over the cake first, then drizzle the strawberry glaze on top for a two-tone ribbon effect.
- Let set for 10 minutes before slicing.

- Do not overmix the batter to maintain a light texture.
- Adjust the amount of food coloring based on desired color intensity.
