- 3 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups pound cake or sponge cake, cut into cubes
- 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 6–8 whole strawberries (for decoration)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Combine sliced strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla. Let sit for 10–15 minutes until juicy.
- Beat cold heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until fluffy and stiff. Transfer to a piping bag.
- In clear plastic dessert cups, add cubes of pound cake as the bottom layer.
- Spoon strawberries and some syrup over the cake as the second layer.
- Pipe whipped cream generously as the third layer. Repeat layers if cups are tall.
- Add a swirl of whipped cream on top and place one whole strawberry in the center.
- Dust lightly with powdered sugar for a snowy finish.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh strawberries.
- Can be made a few hours in advance; just keep refrigerated.
