Description

Delicious cookies made with fresh strawberries and cream cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix well.
  5. Blend in cream cheese until smooth.
  6. Gently fold in the diced strawberries.
  7. Scoop rounded mounds of dough onto lined baking sheets about two inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
