Description
Delicious and easy-to-make Snowy Coconut Cream Domes that are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups (200g) sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1 ½ cups shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweetened)
- Optional: edible sugar pearls or white chocolate drizzle
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat butter and cream cheese together until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt — mix until fluffy.
- Stir in 2 cups shredded coconut until fully incorporated.
- If mixture seems too soft → refrigerate 10–15 minutes to firm slightly.
- Scoop mixture using a cookie scoop or large spoon and shape into round dome-shaped mounds (or roll into balls). Place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Place the remaining coconut on a plate and roll or press each dome into coconut to completely coat.
- For the snowy look, top lightly with toasted coconut flakes for contrast and add an edible pearl to the top center.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving to firm up.
Notes
- Optional: Lightly toast half of the coconut for color contrast.
- These domes can be garnished with edible sugar pearls or a drizzle of white chocolate for added decoration.
