Description
A refreshing drink made with ripe guavas and lime juice.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe guavas
- 2 cups cold water
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2–4 tablespoons sugar or honey to taste
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Wash guavas, slice in half, and scoop out the flesh.
- In a blender, combine guava flesh with cold water; blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher.
- Stir in lime juice and sweetener; adjust sweetness to taste.
- Add ice cubes and stir again; chill in the fridge for 30 minutes if desired.
- Serve over ice, garnished with lime slices or mint leaves.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness based on personal preference.
- Can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
