Description
Deliciously cheesy and savory stuffed King’s Hawaiian Rolls filled with pepperoni and cheese, perfect for dipping!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pack King’s Hawaiian Rolls
- 12–24 slices deli pepperoni
- 6 string cheese sticks, cut in half
- marinara or pizza sauce (for dipping, optional)
- 3 Tablespoons salted butter, melted
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 Tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Place King’s Hawaiian Rolls (removed from packaging) on the prepared baking sheet, keeping them attached. Cut one slit into the top of each roll in each row, slicing through all the rolls but stopping about ⅔ of the way down.
- Stuff each slit with 1-2 slices of deli pepperoni and half a string cheese stick, pressing the filling gently into the slits.
- In a small bowl, mix salted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and fresh parsley. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls, ensuring to get some into the slits.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the rolls.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake on the middle rack for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Remove the aluminum foil and bake for 3-4 more minutes or until golden brown on top.
- If cheese hasn’t fully melted, place aluminum foil back on and return to oven for a few more minutes.
- Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
- If using shredded mozzarella, adjust the quantity to your preference.
- Adjust the amount of deli pepperoni based on your taste.
