Description
A delicious and hearty lasagna that combines the flavors of a bacon cheeseburger with layers of pasta and cheese.

- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup beef broth
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 8 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
- 1½ cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 6 slices cooked crispy bacon, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the beef with onion until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
- Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, and beef broth. Simmer for 10–15 minutes until thickened.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, garlic powder, and parsley. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer noodles, cheese mixture, and more meat sauce.
- Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of sauce and cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil, top with remaining cheddar, mozzarella, and chopped bacon.
- Bake uncovered for another 10–15 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
Notes
- Feel free to add more vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms to the meat sauce for added flavor.
- For a spicier kick, add some red pepper flakes to the meat sauce.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
