- 1 pound Brussels sprouts
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse Brussels sprouts, trim stem ends, remove any yellow leaves, and halve each sprout.
- In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Spread sprouts in a single layer cut side down on a baking sheet.
- Roast in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway through, until edges are golden and centers are tender.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and lemon zest, tossing gently to combine.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, ensure sprouts are spread out on the baking sheet.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
