Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
Instructions
- In a large bowl combine the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
- Pour in the warm water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Gently fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel and let rise at 230°C for 30 minutes.
- On a lightly floured surface, turn the dough out and shape it loosely into a ball.
- Using parchment paper, lift the dough into the hot Dutch oven, cover with the lid, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until the crust is deep golden brown.
- Carefully lift the bread out onto a wire rack and brush the crust with melted butter. Let cool before slicing.
