- 1 cup warm milk (110°F / 43°C)
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened (for filling)
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup cooked crispy bacon, crumbled (for topping)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1–2 tbsp milk (to thin glaze)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit until foamy (5 minutes).
- Add butter, eggs, and salt, then mix in flour gradually.
- Knead until dough is smooth and elastic (8–10 minutes).
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
- Roll dough into a large rectangle (about 12×18 inches).
- Spread softened butter evenly.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll up tightly from the long side and cut into 12 rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and let rise 30–40 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes, until golden.
- In a bowl, whisk powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over warm rolls.
- Sprinkle with crispy bacon crumbles.

- Ensure the milk is warm but not hot to activate the yeast properly.
- For best results, use fresh bacon for topping.
