Description

Crispy taco shells packed with seasoned ground beef, gooey cheese sauce, crunchy lettuce, smoky bacon, and a drizzle of burger-inspired sauce. A fun mashup of cheeseburgers and tacos that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or game day!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
  • 8 crispy taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or nacho cheese sauce)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup burger sauce (mix mayo, ketchup, mustard, and a dash of pickle juice)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef.
  2. Drain excess fat, then stir in taco seasoning and ½ cup water. Simmer 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Warm taco shells in the oven as directed on package.
  4. Cook bacon until crispy, then crumble into small pieces.
  5. Fill each taco shell with seasoned beef.
  6. Top with cheese sauce or shredded cheddar.
  7. Add lettuce, crispy bacon, and a drizzle of burger sauce.
  8. Enjoy immediately while warm and crunchy!
