- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
- 8 crispy taco shells
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or nacho cheese sauce)
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- ½ cup burger sauce (mix mayo, ketchup, mustard, and a dash of pickle juice)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef.
- Drain excess fat, then stir in taco seasoning and ½ cup water. Simmer 5 minutes until thickened.
- Warm taco shells in the oven as directed on package.
- Cook bacon until crispy, then crumble into small pieces.
- Fill each taco shell with seasoned beef.
- Top with cheese sauce or shredded cheddar.
- Add lettuce, crispy bacon, and a drizzle of burger sauce.
- Enjoy immediately while warm and crunchy!
