Description

A decadent Kinder Bueno Swiss Roll recipe that combines a light sponge cake with a rich Kinder Bueno cream filling, topped with a luscious chocolate glaze.


Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream, cold
  • ½ cup mascarpone (or cream cheese)
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • 3 tbsp crushed Kinder Bueno (optional but recommended)
  • ¾ cup white chocolate, melted
  • ½ cup milk chocolate, melted
  • Optional: Extra Kinder Bueno pieces for decorating

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F and line a Swiss roll tray with parchment.
  2. Beat eggs and sugar on high for 5 minutes until pale and fluffy, then add vanilla.
  3. Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt, folding gently to avoid deflation.
  4. Spread batter evenly in the tray and bake for 10–12 minutes until soft and golden.
  5. Lay out a clean kitchen towel dusted with powdered sugar, flip the warm cake onto it, peel off parchment, and roll the cake inside the towel. Let cool completely.
  6. Whip cold heavy cream until soft peaks form, then add mascarpone and powdered sugar, whipping until smooth and thick. Fold in Nutella and crushed Kinder pieces if using.
  7. Unroll the cooled cake gently, spread a thick layer of cream evenly, and roll back up tightly. Chill in the fridge for 30–60 minutes to set.
  8. Pour melted white chocolate over the roll, allowing it to drip down, then drizzle with melted milk chocolate for a stripe effect. Finish with Kinder Bueno pieces on top.
