Description

Italian Crescent Roll Sandwich Bake is a delicious layered dish featuring crescent roll dough filled with a variety of Italian meats and cheeses, topped with a buttery garlic seasoning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz sliced mozzarella (or provolone)
  • 6 oz sliced salami
  • 6 oz sliced pepperoni or soppressata
  • 6 oz sliced ham (optional, for extra layers)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment.
  2. Roll out one can of crescent dough and press seams together, laying it flat in the bottom of the dish.
  3. Add layers of sliced mozzarella, salami, pepperoni (and ham if using), and sprinkle shredded mozzarella. Repeat layers for extra thickness if your dish allows.
  4. Top with the second crescent dough sheet, pressing seams together and sealing edges.
  5. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, then brush over the top crescent layer. Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley.
  6. Bake for 18–25 minutes, until deep golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes to set, then slice like a loaf and serve warm.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the meats and cheeses based on your preference.
  • For a spicier kick, consider adding sliced jalapeños or red pepper flakes.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
