Delicious peppermint chocolate mousse made with whipped cream and crushed Oreos.
Ingredients

- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream (chilled)
- 8 Oreos (crushed)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare the Chocolate Mixture: Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, beat chilled heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and peppermint extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
- Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream until well combined.
- Layering Time: In serving cups, layer crushed Oreos followed by a scoop of mousse. Repeat layers until cups are full.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving. Optionally, top with additional crushed Oreos.
Notes
- For a stronger chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- Adjust the amount of powdered sugar to your preferred sweetness.
