Description

A comforting savory bread pudding made with eggs, ham, cheese, and stale bread.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 4 cups stale bread cubes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
  3. Season the egg mixture with salt and pepper. Gently fold in the diced ham, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and bread cubes until evenly coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until puffed up and golden brown on top. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
