Description

A spooky yet fun layered icebox cake made with cookies, whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, and festive Halloween toppings. Easy to make ahead and perfect for parties!


Ingredients

  • 2 packages Oreo cookies (or other chocolate sandwich cookies)
  • 4 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 box vanilla or pound cake (sliced into layers, optional)
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache (melted chocolate + cream)
  • Halloween sprinkles
  • Candy pumpkins or Halloween-themed candies for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the Whipped Cream: Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Keep chilled until ready to use.
  2. Assemble the Cake: Place a layer of cake or cookies at the bottom of a springform pan. Spread a generous layer of whipped cream over the top. Add a layer of crumbled Oreos (or whole cookies). Repeat layers until the pan is full, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  3. Add the Toppings: Pour chocolate ganache over the top, letting it drip down the sides. Sprinkle with Halloween sprinkles. Garnish with candy pumpkins and extra Oreos.
  4. Chill & Serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or overnight for best results. Slice and serve chilled.
