Description

This creamy cheese tortellini dish is complemented by tender sirloin steak, seasoned perfectly and enhanced with garlic and spices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
  • Parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for garnish)
  • Cracked black pepper (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the sirloin or ribeye steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and cook to your desired doneness. Remove steak from skillet and let it rest before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and whole milk. Bring to a simmer, then add parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Fold in the cooked tortellini and sliced steak until well coated with the sauce.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with parsley, red pepper flakes, and cracked black pepper as desired.
