- 20 oz cheese tortellini
- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
- Parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- Red pepper flakes (optional, for garnish)
- Cracked black pepper (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the sirloin or ribeye steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and cook to your desired doneness. Remove steak from skillet and let it rest before slicing.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream and whole milk. Bring to a simmer, then add parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Fold in the cooked tortellini and sliced steak until well coated with the sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with parsley, red pepper flakes, and cracked black pepper as desired.
