A delicious and creamy chicken dish with sautéed mushrooms and a rich sauce.
Ingredients

- 2 chicken breast halves
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, as desired
- Flour, for coating
- 2 tbsp olive oil, plus extra as needed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard (or add to taste)
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce (or to taste)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2/3 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup full-fat sour cream
Instructions
- Coat chicken in flour, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, add chicken, and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter, onion, and garlic; sauté until translucent.
- Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Stir in dijon mustard and worcestershire sauce; mix well.
- Pour in chicken broth and simmer until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to skillet, stir in sour cream, and heat through.
