  • ½ cup strawberry jam (or any berry jam of choice)
  • 1 egg (for sealing, beaten)
  • Oil, for frying (vegetable or canola)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting
  • Fresh strawberries (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and sour cream until smooth and creamy. Chill the filling in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes so it’s easier to handle.
  2. Assemble the Wontons: Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface with a corner pointing toward you (like a diamond shape). Add 1 teaspoon of cream cheese filling in the center. Top with ½ teaspoon of strawberry jam. Lightly brush the edges of the wrapper with beaten egg. Fold the wrapper over the filling to form a triangle or bring all corners together to form a pyramid.
