- Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and sour cream until smooth and creamy. Chill the filling in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes so it’s easier to handle.
- Assemble the Wontons: Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface with a corner pointing toward you (like a diamond shape). Add 1 teaspoon of cream cheese filling in the center. Top with ½ teaspoon of strawberry jam. Lightly brush the edges of the wrapper with beaten egg. Fold the wrapper over the filling to form a triangle or bring all corners together to form a pyramid. Press tightly to seal and avoid leaks.
