A delicious and hearty Deep Dish Meat Lover’s Pizza Pie loaded with meats and cheeses, perfect for pizza lovers.
Ingredients

- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
- 1 ¼ cups warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ lb Italian sausage (casings removed)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- ½ cup pepperoni slices (optional)
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead until smooth, about 8 minutes.
- Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and sausage until browned. Drain fat.
- Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer 15 minutes until thickened.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a deep-dish or springform pan.
- Roll dough into a large circle and press into the pan, letting it go up the sides.
- Layer with 2 cups mozzarella, provolone, and half the Parmesan.
- Add a layer of pepperoni if using.
- Spread meat sauce evenly on top.
- Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Let cool 10 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or basil. Serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier pizza, add more red pepper flakes.
- Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing to prevent toppings from sliding off.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
