Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini in salted boiling water according to package instructions until they float. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly, and bring to a simmer for about two minutes.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Gently fold in the cooked tortellini and frozen peas, cooking for an additional minute until well combined.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
