Description

A delicious and creamy beef and cabbage casserole topped with melted cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups cooked beef, chopped or shredded
  • 6 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 2 cups grated Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil or cooking spray for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 dish.
  2. Steam or sauté cabbage until nearly tender.
  3. Whisk broth, cream, sour cream, Worcestershire, and mustard powder.
  4. Stir in cabbage and beef.
  5. Mix in half of each cheese.
  6. Transfer mixture to dish and top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes until golden.
  8. Broil for 1 minute if deeper color is desired.
  9. Rest before slicing and serve warm.
