Description

Flaky, golden puff pastry filled with creamy melted brie and topped with sweet–tart cranberry sauce and fresh herbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg + 1 tbsp water (egg wash)
  • 68 oz (170–225g) brie cheese, rind optional
  • 1 cup homemade or store-bought cranberry sauce
  • 1 tsp orange zest (optional)
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)
  • 1 tsp chopped rosemary or thyme (optional)
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs (for garnish)
  • Extra orange zest (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C.
  2. Roll out puff pastry slightly to smooth lines.
  3. Cut pastry into 12–16 equal squares.
  4. Place squares into a greased mini muffin tin, gently pressing to form cups.
  5. Brush lightly with egg wash for golden color.
  6. Cut brie into small cubes.
  7. Place 1 piece of brie into the center of each pastry cup.
  8. Optional: drizzle a tiny bit of honey over the cheese for extra richness.
  9. Bake 12–15 minutes, until the pastry is golden and the brie melted.
  10. Spoon 1–2 teaspoons of cranberry sauce on top of the hot brie.
  11. Add optional orange zest or herbs for aroma and color.
  12. Add a small sprig of thyme or rosemary to each cup.
  13. Serve warm for maximum meltiness.

  • For a sweeter flavor, consider adding more honey.
