Description
Crispy, golden bread rolls overflowing with garlicky crab-and-shrimp filling, smothered in gooey melted cheese, and topped with fresh herbs. Perfect for game day, parties, or an indulgent seafood appetizer!

- 6 small round bread loaves (sourdough or brioche)
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup lump crab meat (or imitation crab)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella (for topping)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice a crosshatch pattern into each bread loaf (don’t cut all the way through).
- Mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley. Brush generously into the cuts.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mayo, mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, lemon juice, and seasoning until smooth.
- Fold in chopped shrimp and crab.
- Spoon filling into the crosshatched bread, pressing deep into cuts.
- Top with extra mozzarella for maximum cheesiness.
- Place bread bombs on a lined baking tray.
- Bake 20–25 minutes until bread is golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Serve hot with garlic aioli or creamy ranch dip on the side.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the seafood filling.
- These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
