Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chocolate Dough: Mix crushed biscuits, cocoa, and powdered sugar in a bowl. Add softened butter and vanilla. Add milk gradually until a soft, moldable dough forms — not sticky, not dry. Chill for 10 minutes to firm slightly.
  2. Shape the Pinecones: Take a small portion of dough (size of a walnut). Roll into an oval/egg shape. If using pretzel sticks, insert one at the top as the “stem.” Press chocolate cereal or almond slices into the dough in overlapping rows, starting from the bottom and working upward — this forms the pinecone “scales.” Shape gently with fingers to refine the pinecone silhouette.
  3. Finish: Place pinecones on a tray and chill 20–30 minutes to set. Sift powdered sugar lightly over the top for a snow-dusted effect — exactly like the image.
