Delicious and cheesy seafood-filled tortilla bombs that are perfect for impressing your guests at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup shrimp (peeled, deveined, chopped)
  • 1 cup crab meat (or imitation crab, shredded)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella/cheddar mix)
  • 2 tbsp butter (for frying)
  • Warm cheese sauce or melted mozzarella (for topping)
  • Shredded carrots (optional, for crunch)
  • Fresh chives or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add shrimp and crab, season with salt and pepper, and cook until just done.
  3. Remove from heat, then stir in cream cheese, mozzarella, cheddar, mayonnaise, and lemon juice. Mix until creamy.
  4. Cut tortillas in half. Place a scoop of seafood filling in the center of each half.
  5. Roll tightly and fold edges to create sealed “bombs.”
  6. Heat butter in a skillet.
  7. Fry each tortilla bomb seam-side down until golden and crispy on all sides.
  8. Drizzle with warm cheese sauce.
  9. Sprinkle shredded carrots and fresh chives/parsley over the top.
  10. Plate immediately and serve hot as a snack, appetizer, or party dish with extra dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the seafood filling with your favorite seafood options.
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying for a quick snack later.
