Description

A delicious and cheesy Italian Stromboli roll filled with pepperoni, ham, and a blend of cheeses, perfect for a quick meal or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450 g) pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (plus more for dipping)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2025 slices pepperoni
  • 6 slices deli ham or salami (optional for extra meatiness)
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll pizza dough into a rectangle (about 10×14 inches).
  3. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce, leaving a 1-inch border around edges.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and provolone evenly.
  5. Layer pepperoni and ham/salami slices on top.
  6. Starting from the long edge, roll dough tightly into a log. Pinch seams and tuck ends under. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush with beaten egg, then drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with parsley and serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit the meat.
  • Feel free to customize the fillings with your favorite ingredients.
  • Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
