Description

Deliciously cheesy and buttery pull-apart rolls infused with garlic and topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 1/4 cups (400 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup (240 ml) warm milk (110°F / 43°C)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted (for garlic butter)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt (for garlic butter)
  • 1 1/2 cups (150 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Mix in melted butter and egg.
  3. Gradually add flour and salt. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
  5. Punch down dough and divide into 12 equal portions.
  6. Roll each piece into a smooth ball.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking dish close together. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  9. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt.
  10. Brush rolls generously with garlic butter.
  11. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  12. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown, cheesy, and bubbling.
  13. Brush with extra garlic butter (optional) and serve warm, pull-apart style.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
