Description

A creamy, cheesy casserole packed with tender chicken, crispy bacon, ranch seasoning, and golden tater tots baked to perfection. This ultimate comfort food is a family favorite that’s perfect for weeknights or potluck gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (reserve some for topping)
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Stir in cooked chicken, half of the cheddar cheese, and most of the bacon pieces.
  5. Spread chicken mixture evenly in the baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the mixture.
  8. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until tater tots are golden and crispy.
  9. Remove from oven, sprinkle with reserved bacon and parsley.
  10. Serve hot and cheesy!

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the chicken mixture.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
