- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (reserve some for topping)
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Stir in cooked chicken, half of the cheddar cheese, and most of the bacon pieces.
- Spread chicken mixture evenly in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the mixture.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until tater tots are golden and crispy.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with reserved bacon and parsley.
- Serve hot and cheesy!
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the chicken mixture.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
