- 1 cup Butter
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 6 cups Oyster Crackers
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter and brown sugar, stirring continuously until melted and dissolved.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and add vanilla extract and baking soda, stirring well.
- Transfer oyster crackers to a large bowl and pour the caramel sauce over them, folding gently to coat.
- Spread the coated crackers evenly on the prepared sheet and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet.
