Description

A delightful and creamy fruit salad that combines the flavors of caramel and cheesecake with fresh fruits.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream (or whipped topping)
  • ¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 2 green apples, diced (Granny Smith recommended)
  • 1 banana, sliced (optional)
  • 1 cup seedless grapes (optional for extra color)
  • ½ cup graham cracker crumbs or crushed digestive biscuits
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Extra strawberries or apples for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the heavy cream and beat until fluffy and creamy.
  3. Chill while preparing the fruit.
  4. Wash, dry, and cut all fruit into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Pat them dry with paper towels (especially strawberries and apples) to avoid watering down the cream.
  6. In a large serving dish or foil tray, spread a layer of the cheesecake cream.
  7. Top with mixed fruit evenly.
  8. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the top.
  9. Drizzle generously with caramel sauce.
  10. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and whipped topping.
  • Feel free to mix in other fruits like blueberries or pineapple.
  • Can be made a few hours in advance; just keep it refrigerated.
