A rich and decadent Brownie Cheesecake that combines the fudgy texture of brownies with the creamy goodness of cheesecake, topped with fresh berries and chocolate curls.

- ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter
- 170 g dark chocolate, chopped
- ¾ cup (150 g) granulated sugar
- ¼ cup (50 g) brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup (65 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
- 450 g (16 oz) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (100 g) sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 ml sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- Fresh raspberries, strawberries, blueberries (for decoration)
- Dark chocolate curls or shavings (for decoration)
- Mint leaves (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 160°C (325°F). Line an 8-inch springform pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and chocolate together (microwave or double boiler).
- Whisk in sugars, then eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold in flour, cocoa, and salt — mix gently until just combined.
- Pour into prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes (it should be slightly underbaked). Set aside to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed.
- Stir in vanilla and sour cream.
- Pour gently over the brownie base, smoothing the top.
- Place the pan in a larger baking dish and pour hot water halfway up the sides (water bath method).
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, until the center is just set and slightly wobbly.
- Turn off oven, crack the door open, and let it cool gradually.
- Chill at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, top with fresh berries, chocolate curls, and a drizzle of melted chocolate.
- Garnish with mint leaves for a pop of color.

- For a richer flavor, use high-quality dark chocolate.
