Description

Delicious chocolate chip banana muffins that are moist and flavorful, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  3. Mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
