Description
Bacon Cheeseburger Cheese Wraps are a delicious and creative twist on the classic cheeseburger, using cheese as the wrap instead of bread.
Ingredients

- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 4 strips of cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
- 8 slices of mozzarella or provolone cheese (or use pre-made cheese wraps)
- Optional Toppings: Pickles, diced tomatoes, lettuce, or extra sauce for serving
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and chop into small pieces. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, and mustard. Stir well. Mix in chopped bacon and shredded cheese until melted and combined. Remove from heat.
- Option 1 – Oven Method: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place 4 slices of cheese slightly overlapping to form a rectangle. Bake for 5–6 minutes, until edges are bubbling and cheese becomes pliable. Option 2 – Skillet Method: Heat a nonstick pan on medium heat. Add 1–2 slices of cheese and let them melt into a flexible layer (about 1 minute).
- Spoon a generous line of the beef mixture across the center of the melted cheese. Carefully roll it up while warm — the cheese will act as your “tortilla.” Let rest for 1–2 minutes to firm up slightly.
- Garnish with chopped chives, extra bacon, or drizzle with burger sauce. Serve warm with a side of pickles or salad.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add jalapeños to the beef mixture.
- These wraps can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
