A sweet and flavorful apple simple syrup perfect for cocktails, desserts, and more.
Ingredients

- 2 apples
- 1 cup sugar (200g)
- 1 cup water (235ml)
Instructions
- Wash the apples, then remove the cores and chop the unpeeled apples into chunks.
- Add to a saucepan with the sugar and water. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and let the apple simple syrup infuse for a further 10 minutes.
- Place a fine mesh sieve over a jug or bowl, and pour in the mixture to strain the apples out of the syrup.
- Pour the apple syrup into a jar or bottle. Allow to cool completely and store in the refrigerator.
